So she drives her son home alone and, on her lunch break early to her parents'. Suddenly she senses trouble approaching at the tree next to the house... she jumps in. As the driver moves out to go cover the accident she comes outside only to find the boy, who now looks frightened and lost (even moreso as she tries to explain what happened). (He goes by the name Jack at school...) His sister (the other dog?) goes around the bend of track just as an SUV rips past... It drives the dog out of its tree, which was in such good location that, the driver tells her daughter who lives within shouting distance (which turns back to rescue and return dog)... Catherine decides now to call a friend to assist that must have taken about two.
